Life After Mom was started to document the experiences and reflections of our family as life has taken us down a path of grief, unknown, and a new beginning.   When wife and mother Krista died on September 18, 2014, Life After Mom began.  It is our hope that this site will bring awareness to the personal nature of grief.  We want to support those who have had loved ones pass to soon, to find comfort in truly embracing the life that now stands before them.  In addition, we support causes that are diligent in their pursuit for a cure for cancer and closer to home Multiple Myeloma.   Furthermore we hope to help those who are currently battling terminal illness navigate the systems that can often seem more like barriers than paths towards healing.
